Do I need to install DHI License Manager 2026 separately on my PC? 

Answer

No. From version 2026, there is no separate installer for the desktop DHI License Manager app. It is included in the other software installers.

If your company uses the Internet Entitlement, users only need to install the relevant DHI software on their PC. Administrators manage users and entitlement access in the DHI Entitlement Portal.

However, if you have a Network Entitlement and want to create a Network Entitlement Server, you must install DHI License Server 2026 separately on the computer that will act as the server. This allows the entitlement to be moved from the DHI Entitlement Portal to that network server. After that, users on the network can connect to the server through DHI License Manager, which is included in the software installation.

#01 - Read the Release Note 
The minimal system, hardware requirements and the verified operating systems are listed in the release note (DHI License Manager Release Notes.pdf).
 

#02 – Download and Install DHI License Manager 2026
Download DHI License Server 2026 from Download Center and save the file on your PC.
