How to work with Plots manager?
Plots manager can be accessed through the “Plots view’ button located in the “Project” tab ribbon (Fig. 1) or via the "Plots" tab in the "Table of Contents" panel, on the right of the tabs for "Setup", "Layers and Symbols" and "Results" (Fig. 2).

Initially the Plots Manager is empty, a right click on the panel (or clicking on the "New folder" button at the top) allows the user to create a new folder (or sub-folder) to store plots generated (Fig. 3).

Similarly to the native MIKE+ environment right-clicking on the folder name enables the options to rename, duplicate, delete and other management functions (Fig. 4).

To include plots in Plots manager the user must access the context menu options by right clicking on the graphical visualization of the time series, scatter or cross section plots. Choosing the option “Save to plots manager” will add it to Plots manager (Fig. 5).

Furthermore, the saved plots can be restored and edited in terms of their results selection and from the Plots manager by means of the right-click options "Plot" and "Edit results selection", respectively.
Fig. 6 presents the Plot editor dialog for editing the selection results of a given plot.

Plots manager can be also used to work with Longitudinal Profiles. In this case, the process to save the plots is easier, just click directly on the SAVE button on the longitudinal profile visualization (Fig. 7).

An example of the different types of saved plots (scatter, time series, cross section and profile) is presented in Fig. 8.

Plots manager enables users applying optimal results management techniques in order to save and organize various forms of time series, scatter plots and cross section results presentations, as well as longitudinal profiles. Such plots can then be reopened, duplicated, edited and exported or imported from within a single interface, thus improving the user's productivity. For instance, if the user often plots a Q-h relation at the same location and/or preferred colors/fonts, then using the Plots manager is the advisable way of restoring the original plot. After creating the plot and saving it if the plots needs to be reopened then it is just a matter of double-clicking on the plot's name in Plots manager.
